Note that this is far more effective with smaller types.Īn extremely safe method for killing large titans involves hitting them when they're unaware. When it does the slam or combo attack, roll so you're behind it. The safest method for killing a normal titan (again, works best when it's alone): approach from the front, running towards the side of the titan. Jump and grapple on to its neck and slash (this is a very easy hit to make, the hit box seems to be huge)
The safest method for killing an abnormal (when its alone) goes like so: Bait it into jumping, and roll to avoid it. There aren't many blind spots, but one of them is on a titan's chest. Jean is good for beginners and Mikasa's momentum cancelling is good in the right hands, but the spin attack is all-around usefull
Levi is probably the best for sheer killing efficiency. Hope this helpsĪ few other tips from someone else who's played way too much. Only stay on for one, MAYBE two attacks, then jump away. Sometimes titans can sneak up and kill you.ġ2: NEVER spend too much time on a titan. Levi's special is especially good at doing this.ġ1: Turn around and look behind you every now and then. Land on top of them, then just jump over a titan, turn around, and attack. The best kills are ones where your speed before and after the kill is the same.ġ0: Use buildings to your advantage. You don't want it running out in the middle of a kill.ĩ: For max points, get behind a titan slightly to its side, aim at its neck, press Q and E quickly, let go (so you don't swing to hight), aim again, hook and hold this time while holding down gas, then release right before you get to the titan and swing.
If you mess up then wait for them to jump, then kill them while they're on the ground/tired.Ĩ: Refill your gas when it's about a quarter full. If you do it right then they'll act like a normal titan and you can kill them easily. Also, keep in mind you can kill small titans from the side of their neck, so you don't have to get all the way around them.ħ: For deviants, use 5. Dodge it, then jump from behind them and hook onto their neck and kill them. Use gas and try to barely graze the top of their heads (so they initiate a head grab that will always miss unless you get stuck on the head), then spin around and hook on the nape and slash or use Levi's special.Ħ: For small titans, jump/swing close to them and try to initiate an attack. This'll prevent titans from killing you from behind while you're trying to kill one.ĥ: One of the best way I've found to kill medium and large titans from the front is to aim at the top of their heads and tap the Q and E keys. It can help you build up speed to get high scoring kills and is very good at helping you get away from ground pounds or grabs.Ĥ: If you're facing a group of titans, go for the large ones in the back first. Levi's on the other hand is a consistently strong attack and can be used as a boost to escape. Odds are if you're in a situation where you need some titans to be still, it's already too late. Mikasa's special is a lot harder to use, and Armin's is only useful against titans that haven't started an attack. TPS is a lot easier and more intuitiveĢ: Play as Levi. You see a lot of really good people play with default, but that's because they got started before Feng added alternate camera types. Spawn timers and Endless spawn apply individually to the spawners you place, you can have unique settings for each one.1: Play with TPS camera. A spawn timer of 30 with endless spawn enabled will spawn a titan every 30 seconds. Endless Spawn - If activated, the spawner will continuously instantiate titans without waiting for the round to end. A spawn timer of 30 will spawn a titan after 30 seconds. Spawn Timer - how long the spawner takes to instantiate a titan in seconds.
Spawners - these are independent spawners that will instantiate their own titans based on determined settings It is recommended that you use at least 3 or 4 Spawn Points to prevent titans from spawning inside of buildings or other objects. Spawn Points - these determine where the RANDOM titans will spawn. Titan Spawn Cap - the max amount of titans before spawners will pause. The absolute minimum is 1 titan, otherwise the game will end prematurely. Random Titan # - this is the number of randomly spawned titans on the map.
